Our bags and belts are made in northern Colombia, where the Wayuu people have lived for thousands of years. Our entire product line from Guanabana is based on an ambition for social sustainability, precisely because the products also support the rich cultural heritage of the Wayuu people.

Our various Guanabana tote bags are all handmade using crochet techniques by the Wayuu people from Colombia. Their work makes up an important but fragile artistic and cultural heritage.  All of our products are made in collaboration with the communities who originally invented them. Our tote bags are no exception. They are made in northern Colombia, where the Wayuu people have lived for thousands of years. The often colorful designs characterize the traditional style that has existed for countless generations.

Exclusively made for britt_marie_kbh.  We have searched through our partner's archives with the goal of finding handmade vintage styles with timeless aesthetic. The artisans have spent their whole lives mastering their craft, and the selection is a testament to their incredible skills, traditions and dedication. Founder

As a former student at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California I am trained in the intersection between architecture and design. 
I have an anthropological perspective on the design process which is definitely based on my bachelor's degree in nursing. Design, nursing and anthropology complement each other well, and I am able to benefit from their common fields of knowledge. I believe craft traditions are a celebration of our contemporary lives and our culture, and I find great interest in contributing to the work and life of skilled artisans.
