Fique shopping bag

Our fique bags are made by artisans completely by hand using only fique, a natural fiber that comes from the Furcraea bendighausii plant. 

The artisans collect the leaves to obtain fine strips used to weave handicrafts such as baskets, hats or other accessories. 

Fique is a biodegradable fiber that when broken down is used as food and fertilizer; In addition, it does not contaminate water and allows clean production. 

Its advantages are both environmental and sustainable.
